Founded in 1996: Humble Beginnings
Neptec was established in 1996, starting with a dedicated team of 81 employees spread across Tennessee, Texas, and California. From day one, our commitment has been to deliver high-quality optical solutions tailored to our clients’ needs.
A New Era: 2008 and Beyond
In 2008, Neptec entered an exciting new chapter when our current CEO acquired the company. Under new leadership, we expanded our capabilities with a 16,262 sq. ft. facility in Fremont, California, featuring a state-of-the-art Class 10,000 cleanroom. This investment marked the beginning of a transformative era for Neptec.
A pivotal moment in our growth was the strategic partnership with the CEO of Lightcomm. As one of the world’s largest manufacturers of passive and active optical components, Lightcomm’s integration into our custom optical fiber solutions and the creation of their own has given Neptec a significant edge in the market.
