Neptec Optical Solutions offers a comprehensive line of passive fiber optic subsystems, modules and devices along with specialty active products like our high-power EDFA. Our mission is to provide enabling solutions for telecom, datacom, aerospace and medical companies. We design customized connectivity, wavelength and power management products to meet unique requirements, such as specialty fiber cable assemblies in high temperature, high reliability applications. Our core competency comes from years of handling optical fiber in the design and manufacturing of optical cable assemblies, passive devices, modules and subsystems.



Established in 2001, we are located in Fremont, California, near the heart of Silicon Valley. We have approximately 12,000 square feet of manufacturing floor space to support quick-turn builds and local product services. Key markets that we serve are: CATV, SANs, metro & long haul telecom, datacom, laboratory, medical and military/aerospace. With over 250 customers, we pride ourselves in manufacturing complex passive optical subsystems and cable assemblies with:

In 2008, we strategically partnered with Lightcomm Technology, effectively adding low-cost, mass production manufacturing capability across our entire product line. Based in Shenzhen China, Lightcomm is widely regarded in the industry as a technology and quality leader of fused biconical tapered couplers. This partnership has enabled Neptec Optical Solutions to offer to all our customers, dual paths of product fulfillment: 1) local customized service, quick-turn prototype, low to mid volume manufacturing from our Fremont facility; and 2) cost-effective, high volume, high quality production from China. Quality is key to our success, and we stand by every product that we sell.
